
Billy Shaw
Lead Pastor
A native of Charlotte, NC, Pastor Billy Shaw received Christ as his Savior at age 8 and answered the call to preach at age 16. He received his Seminary training at Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC and has served churches throughout North Carolina and in South Florida.
He and his wife Ashley were married in 2012, and God has blessed them with one son named Liam. The Shaw family enjoys traveling, hiking, and serving the Lord together. Pastor Billy's favorite Bible verse is Philippians 3:10 (KJV), "That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death."

Becky Best
Music Director
Rebecca Best is a native of the Town Creek area and has been devoted to church music since her middle school years. Raised in a Christian home, she cannot remember a time she did not know Jesus. Becky holds two bachelor’s degrees from UNC Wilmington and a Master of Music Education from Boston University.
In her teaching career spanning 30 years of instrumental music education she has directed and taught bands and instrumental students. She is a past winner of the Richard R. Deas Concerto Competition and recipient of the Adcock Scholarship for Most Outstanding Senior Music Major. Becky has served as a AP Music Theory reader for the College Board for many years. Becky received the North Carolina Bandmasters Award of Excellence, recognizing her distinguished career in music education.
Becky’s favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
